“Recognizing and Releasing Stressors in High Tech Workplace”

Recognizing and Releasing Stressors  in a High Tech Workplace

The rapid and insane pace of change in high tech workplaces often causes us excessive stress, sometimes resulting in us making unrecognizable subconscious choices. Have you ever wished you could go back and change how you reacted in a specific instance? It is in fact possible.

While we cannot actually change the situation that occurred, there are very powerful exercises we can do to learn from our mistakes and re-frame the context and subconscious “storage”. Please join us in throwing away your old responses and guilt and replace it with a calm, positive and energetic attitude!

In this interactive workshop and presentation you will learn how to:
• Reframe past events in the workplace that still cause you stress and even guilt/regret
• Identify and release stress on a daily basis using powerful techniques
• Revisit earlier events that caused angst and visually explore the different outcomes you could have chosen
• Change the self-defeating movies that replay each day in our minds
When you recognize stressors in the workplace and understand there are a plethora of better responses that you could choose, your energy level will soar and your stress level will plummet.

For the last 20+ years JC has worked in Corporate America, mostly in IT, as a consultant or vendor within major Fortune 500 corporations. Throughout this process JC managed large IT implementation projects covering a wide range of industries. JC worked with clients to help implement and manage end-to-end technical solutions for both internal and external customers. This contributed to a lifelong desire and curiosity to figure out why some corporations and projects worked and why some companies and projects failed. This would start the path to researching the link between the work and how one feels about the work; the link between where you are in the organization and the ability to implement change.
