To be brief – Our goal is simple: share our research, Women & Financial Wellness: Beyond the Bottom Line with more women! We outline the unique challenges women face in both building wealth and saving for retirement. We provide practical solutions and actions steps, so collectively women can make an impact and be a part of the solution in closing the wealth gap.
As a member of the Simmons Group at Merrill Lynch, I work with a team of women financial advisors that are passionate and uniquely positioned to service the needs of women investors. We’ve made it a priority to better understand the ways women uniquely think about wealth by examining a women’s multidimensional life journey. Our team would love the opportunity to share important information with your Women’s Affinity group on the challenges women face in prioritizing goals (career, relationships, and family), building wealth and saving for retirement.
We are passionate about seeing more women achieve economic power and influence. Women have a lot to celebrate! We’ve made strides in key areas in recent years – from earning more college degrees and holding higher-paying jobs to starting more businesses and living longer. Yet, we still have a lot of work to do! As we pursue our goals of having enough money to last throughout our lifetime and beyond, we often face unique challenges.
- The wealth gap is the biggest challenge we’re not talking about
- Women need to start thinking about funding a 100+ year life span
- What women can do to help make sure they’re well positioned for success
