2021 WICT Virtual Premier Management Development Series

WICT Midwest is excited to announce the return of the Virtual Premier Management Development Series in 2021!

Focusing on the Touchstones of Leadership, this program supports participants wherever they may be on their leadership journey. Participants will experience a comprehensive development program focused on self-awareness, building a stronger leadership skillset and developing practical tools to apply these new skills.

This series explores what it takes to be an effective and impactful leader and supports participants’ development through both learning sessions and peer-to-peer coaching groups. The program content will be tailored to meet the needs of emerging leaders with limited people management experience, as well as more tenured, seasoned leaders.

To ensure the highest value for all, participants will be allocated to classes where their peers have a similar level of leadership experience and tenure ensuring that learning content and facilitated discussions are customized to meet the needs of each class

 

Program Overview

All virtual training will be conducted in small class sizes to foster relationships and enable greater learning. Participants will engage in a series of ten sessions, supported by ten peer-to-peer coaching meetings over five months.

  • Each Learning session will be 2.5 hours of facilitated development with in-depth discussions
  • Peer to peer coaching subgroups meet independently outside of the main session with specific objectives to support one another’s development
  • Personalysis and 360 reviews are foundations to the program

The program is open to WICT Midwest members who hold a position of supervisor or manager. Managing direct reports is not a requirement, but applicants should be in a role to influence others, and be open to applying these skills within the program. In order to gain the maximum benefit from the program, participants must make a commitment to attend each session.

Additionally, applicants must have manager approval to participate in the program, and the application must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from your manager. The cost of the program is $1100, not including travel and related expenses.

Applications are due by February 26, 2021.

Program acceptance notifications will be sent on March 19, 2021.
